OUR LIVE-IN CARE SERVICE EXPLAINED
Strand Nursing’s live-in care service provides you with the luxury of having the skills of a healthcare professional with you throughout the day and night, whilst maintaining your independence in the comfort of your own home.
Unlike a care home where many individuals have to be considered, live-in care is a personal one-to-one service that is tailored to the needs of each individual. A premium, bespoke care service is provided, accommodating your regular routine and specific requirements, allowing you to live your chosen lifestyle as well as adapting to your changing circumstances.
What is included in live-in care?
A Strand Nursing healthcare assistant or support worker can move in to your home with you, supporting you to remain independent in the comfort of your own home, whilst surrounded by your family, friends and treasured possessions.
Our bespoke service offers you a high level of flexibility, from simple things such as choosing your meals and watching your favourite programmes on television, through to having the freedom to be active each day knowing there is someone there to support your care requirements. These may seem simple requests, but such things can have a profound effect on your well-being.
Delivering your live-in care service
When coordinating your live-in care service, we take extra care to match our staff sympathetically with your situation and personality, as well as your clinical needs. We also ensure that all of our live-in care staff are fully briefed on your expectations and personal preferences.
We have a commitment to quality that ensures we only supply the highest standards of healthcare professionals to deliver care in your home. We have quality assurance systems in place that are continually reviewed and monitored to maintain a premium care service to all of our clients.
Before your care package commences we will give you the opportunity to meet with your carers to ensure that you are happy with every aspect of your care package.
